The Meek Ten Commandments
- This world, and all that is in it, is ours to enjoy. Therefore, we should enjoy it to its fullest.
- Don’t stress trying to create the “perfect life” since there is no such thing as a “perfect life.” Instead, remember that, often, the best things that happen to us in life were neither planned nor anticipated. Therefore, always envisage something better for yourself, trusting it will come once you’re ready for it.
- Our lives consist of more than this present moment with its circumstances. We will always strive to maintain hope in a better tomorrow.
- We control only the perception of what happens to us in life. As such, we will refuse the mantle of victimhood.
- Our focus will remain on our destination, not the difficulties of our journey.
- We refuse to waste our life worrying about scenarios that are only the invention of an anxious mind.
- Whenever possible, we will avoid all sources of negativity, which would serve to steal our joy.
- We will allow every second spent experiencing love and/or joy to negate every minute we had to endure pain.
- As long as there is breath in our bodies, we will never quit.
- We will embrace whatever this life gives us and make it our own.
